Today was the last day to ride the famous Santa Monica Ferris Wheel. Unfortunately, I've only ridden it once, that's kinda sad because I'm in Santa Monica all the time. The Ferris wheel was put up for bid on Ebay and there were over 30 offers for the ride. In the end, Grant Humphreys threw down a whomping $132,400 for the ride. Now he plans on resurrecting the ride in Oklahoma City.
