is it winter yet?...

Ok, so we just official started Summer the other week, but all that's on my mind is the first day on some pow. I only went up a measly 2 times last year :::sign:::. Alas, this season will be MUCH different. I've already gotten my season pass, and the new stick is on it's way (Lib Tech of course).

With that said, here is some winter freshness to get you psyched for the season at hand. First, Burton has opened the first indoor snowboard terrain park in Beijing China. The park is located at Qiaobo Ice and Snow World just outside of Beijing. The park was built by Burton together with Mellow Construction China. The park consists of a Downrail - 6 meter, Downbox - 6 meter, 4 Kicker, Barrel Combo, Funbox - 8 meter Wallride - 1.5×4 meter. This is the third Mellow Park in China, and is said to be open 365 days a year.

Now on to the vids. First, Mack Dawg Productions brings us Double Decade which marks MDP's 20th year of film making. They've brought us such epicness as The Resistance, AMP, True Life, Stand & Deliver, Decade, and Simple Pleasures just to name a few...



Next, we have a vid from ROME Snowboards called No Correct Way. The film features boarding from various locations around the world such as Romania and British Columbia. Some notable to look forward to seeing: Bjorn Leines, Marius Otterstad and Yan Dofin.


Finally, we've got a film from Standard called Aesthetics. Some really impressive backcountry riding, and the soundtrack to the teaser fits in well. Riders to look out for Torstein Horgmo, Mitch Reed, Mathieu Crepel, Xavier Delerue, Mads Jonsson and many others.
