part of the weekend never dies LA screening recap...

Last night was the Los Angeles premier of the Soulwax documentary - Part of the Weekend Never Dies, held at The Montalbán in Hollywood. I didn't think I'd be able to make since I work far away, and I heard the line was gonna be bananas so at first I didn't even bother to try. Luckily, Cody (GRNAPPLETREE/DISCO VIETNAM) scored a few extra's, so I jetted over once I got back into lalaland.

When I got to the spot Cody was there with his roommate Ian (DISCO VIETNAM), and his intern Richie (DAAAAANG) and they informed me there was open bar, which we took full advantage of.

There were little asian beezies serving the drinks, which is always nice to look at.

I've actually watched the vid over a dozen times, but seeing it on the big screen felt like seeing it for the first time again. After seeing their doc. I have to see them live to experience it first hand. I just scored a ticket for HARD, but need one more for my roommate, so if anyone has any for a reasonable price hollar.
