boring-hillboreal...expands terrain...

Boreal Mountain Resort announced today plans to expand its terrain to the top of the mountain starting Wednesday, December 10. The mountain will be accessed from top to bottom via the Accelerator Express Quad chair lift from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. In addition, Boreal will continue service from the Castle Peak Quad chair with full resort services being offered daily.

Cold temperatures dipping to 16 degrees has enabled Boreal’s 25 new high output, high efficiency snowmaking guns to reach peak performance of over 2500 gallons per minute. This is the most snow that Boreal has ever produced in one session.

A storm is forecasted for the weekend adding some of Mother Nature’s white gold. Conditions permitting, Boreal will further expand terrain, including a second terrain park, and additional beginner and intermediate terrain. Skier’s and snowboarder’s can expect a total of five runs, two terrain parks, and three chair lifts servicing terrain top to bottom this weekend.

The 9th Annual “Learn More on the North Shore” is also taking place this weekend at Boreal where beginner’s can learn to ski or snowboard for just $25, which includes an all-day beginner's lift ticket, 1 3/4 hour group lesson and gear rental for ages 8 & up.
