vacay...

Back from my little vacay with the lady. Took a little trip to Portland for a few days to get away from lalaland for a second. I haven't been to Oregon since college, and this was my first time trip to Portland. The forecast said showers the whole time we were going to be there, but we got lucky because it was pretty nice the majority of the trip.

We stayed at the Ace Hotel, which I highly recommend to anyone planning a trip that way. The rooms look like a boarding school dorm (meaning nicer than your average dorm) with the showers, and bathrooms located in the hallway. The rooms did however have a sink, towels, robes, iron, blow dryer, and even a bottle opener on the wall. One wall was papered with faded pages from an old dictionary.

Since the weather was so nice we spent the majority of the time walking around.
