l8s ang3les photography...

I love 3 day weekends. I get to sleep in until 8 (that's late for me. my body won't allow me to sleep any later), while the lady sleeps until 10ish. It also gives me time to do some blogging (more so the lady sleeping) because I otherwise wouldn't have time, or would even want to. It's been such a nice weekend, and I can already tell it's going to be an amazing summer.

We took a trip to the west side to The Annenberg Space for Photography to see L8S ANG3LES, a collection of work from eleven celebrated LA photographers. Of course no photography was allowed, but I was able to get in a few shots before getting the axe. They displayed only a few chosen pieces from each artists, but had a full collection of their work on one of the new Microsoft Surface tables. If you're on the west side you should definitely check it out. The show is currently being run until June 28th, and they're located at 2000 Avenue of the Stars in Century City, Los Angeles.

Since we were already on the west side we decided to take a little trip to Santa Monica down to the Promenade for lunch, and hangout for a bit.

The lady is also a bit of a photographer.

We saw this awesome Husky while walking around the Promenade. I've wanted a Husky my whole life, but my mum would never let me get one. The owner said he was a rescue from the pound, so I'm going to start scouring the local pounds until I find one. If anyone knows of anyone with pups let me know!

the end.
