I decided to see if my old house in Tinez was on Google maps yet because last time I checked it wasn't. My room is the one on left. Soooo many memories just popped up in my head when I saw this.
Did I mention Shell Oil refinery was literally right down the street? Once a month they'd sound off a siren for emergency purposes. When I first moved there this totally freaked me out. One time in junior high the alarm went off, and we had to stay in our class rooms under our desks until it was "safe". Because that's going to save us right? Good'ol tinez.
